We are finally returning to a “normal” school year. This means that student activities and service projects are able to be back up and running similar to before. As we unite our community through service please pray for opportunities to share Christ with others and glorify His name. Not all of our families and students are Christians and this is a great opportunity to plant seeds in faith.
The topic of gender identity and same-sex attractions is an international hot topic and has certainly made its way to Ecuador. In the next couple of weeks, we will be conducting our initial meetings and conversations with the staff at our school and then rolling out our approach with the students and greater community. This will include staff, students, parents, partner ministries, local churches, and more. This is a highly sensitive and potentially decisive issue so I would like prayers for the initial conversations to allow our community to learn to dialog in a respectful way. Ultimately we hope that we can be a light that honors God and reflects His love and truth
