2021 Recap

In this coming year, we are looking forward to how the Lord of the Harvest will move in our local churches and around the world. Would you consider helping to make that a reality by generously giving to UB Global this December? We are aiming to raise $26,805 to help us finish the year. We have a matching donor who will double your gifts up to $8,000. So consider joining UB Global in bringing the good news of Jesus to some of the most Gospel-deprived places around the world.

Despite a pandemic, God gave us a year of growth and greater mission impact. We added Faa and SomYing, Thai national Christians, to our team. Chloe Makley (Michigan) is training and preparing to head out in 2022 as our first Thailand intern. Alex and Cristina Núñez (Honduras) are learning to speak English in order to join our Thailand team.

This year we were blown away by the support from our UB church through their participation in the VBS offering. We more than doubled our goal and were able to purchase vehicles for missions! Thanks for helping us do better missions together around the world.

Restricted Access

While we can’t say much in detail about our workers serving in restricted access countries, we want to acknowledge that they are seeing hearts open to the Gospel amidst COVID-19, and local believers are bravely stepping forward. Praise God for that!

Sierra Leone

Though our regular medical teams were unable to travel to Mattru Hospital, God opened doors for limited travel in the weeks after the McCammon family and Dr. Ruth Rivera arrived. Dr. Jon & Heleen Yoder served at the hospital & the Nyandengoh! Ministry, while Sherry McCammon & radiographer Hannah Wyatt served as well.

We started 2021 with a big change for Macau – the first virtual missions trip – and they are ending in a similar fashion! Just this month, the Lord facilitated Living Stone Church moving its location on the island of Taipa. This will allow them to missionally engage an area of Macau that has far fewer churches with the Gospel.

Speaking in churches

Speaking around N. America

The UB Global team spoke in over 35 churches – to youth groups, on Sunday mornings, and to Sunday Schools. It is a privilege for us to connect with fellow UBs and inspire & equip believers.

Global Zoom

During the pandemic, we created new ways to travel the world!
