Partner Agencies

The world abounds with good organizations doing meaningful work. Global Ministries gladly embraces other like-minded organizations, recognizing that by working together, much more can be accomplished.

We have established strong partnerships with a number of organizations.

Samaritan's PurseSamaritan's Purse

Samaritan's Purse is a Christian relief and development organization headed by Franklin Graham. They work around the world, and have developed a high level of expertise as “first responders” in disaster situations--earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, etc. When a disaster strikes an area where we have churches, we may channel relief funds through Samaritan's Purse to multiple the impact of our own efforts.

CH Global

CH Global (Christian Horizons) is a Canadian organization that we partner with in Haiti. When the 2010 earthquake struck, CH Global was able to deliver help directly to several of our UB churches. CH Global also operates a child sponsorship program that allows at-risk and disabled children to receive an education, medical care, nutrition, and spiritual care through the efforts of our local UB churches in Haiti. Numerous United Brethren people sponsor Haitian children through CH Global.

US Center for World MissionUS Center for World Mission (USCWM)

The U. S. Center for World Mission (USCWM) is a mission agency that helps to improve strategic decision-making and practice on the frontiers of mission, surmounting the barriers that hinder God’s kingdom from coming among all peoples. This focus is reflected in the USCWM’s many publications, programs, and projects. Members of Frontier Mission Fellowship, an umbrella organization, staff the USCWM. Two of our endorsed staff members serve with FMF.

Wycliffe Bible TranslatorsWycliffe Bible Translators

William Cameron Townsend founded Wycliffe in 1942. A missionary to the Cakchiquel Indians of Guatemala, Townsend caught the vision for translation when Cakchiquel-speaking men expressed their concern that the Bible was not available to them in the language they understood clearly. As a result, Townsend resolved that every man, woman, and child should be able to read God’s Word in their own language.

Since its inception, Wycliffe has made great progress in Bible translation all around the world. To date, they have played a part in completing more than 700 Scripture Translations. Currently, we have eleven endorsed staff members working with Wycliffe.

However, for more than 60 years they have consistently expanded their support services to meet the changing needs of translation teams. They provide technical support services and resources to Wycliffe Bible Translators, SIL International, and related organizations around the world.
